ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent role on a 9-day fortnight roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night. 

Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.

As the Lead Warehouse, you will be responsible for leading warehouse and logistics operations to deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective supply services that support operational performance across Worsley Refinery.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Manage warehouse and inventory processes, resources and service delivery to meet operational requirements and performance targets.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to support effective outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse processes, inventory availability and accuracy, data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management processes, transactional accuracy and warehouse governance standards.
  • Lead inventory management activities, including stock accuracy, replenishment, cycle counts and inventory optimisation to support operational requirements.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Leading and developing teams within warehousing, logistics, supply chain or operational environments.
  • Building collaborative relationships and influencing positive outcomes across a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Coaching and supporting others to build capability, engagement and high-performance ways of working.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and using data to inform decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Managing competing priorities, allocating resources effectively and delivering outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrating strong communication, sound judgement and a commitment to safety, accountability and inclusion.

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Logistics, Inventory Management, Warehousing and/or Business improvement
  • Appointment or eligibility for appointment as a Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor in accordance with the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.

Desirable

  • Post secondary studies directly connected to the role; Commerce, Finance, Engineering or related disciplines
