We have exciting new opportunities for experienced Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Mobile Mechanics to lead teams of trades on our maintenance and repairs crews on a variety of surface mining & heavy earthmoving equipment.

About you

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Australian Recognised National Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel Mobile Plant)
• Current Australian Drivers License
• Prior demonstratable leadership experience
• Experience working on CAT, Hitachi & Komatsu mining / heavy earth moving equipment
• A 'can do' attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on developing effective relationships and team building
• Strong ability to assess mechanical tasks coming into the workshop for maintenance, diagnose faults and prepare a detailed scope of work, including parts
• Ability to deliver to deadlines and ensure operations are performed safely in accordance with Emeco guidelines
• A high level of integrity & accountability
