About the role

We have exciting new opportunities for experienced Leading Hand's & Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics to join our team at Carosue Dam in the Goldfields. 

This position offers:

• Variety of daily work on CAT/Hitachi/Komatsu equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders and trucks.
• FIFO from Perth or Busselton.
• Family friendly 8/6 roster opportunities, as well as 2/1 rosters

Required skills/experience and attributes. 

• Recognised National Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel Mobile Plant).
• Prior demonstratable leadership experience.
• Experience working on CAT, Hitachi & Komatsu mining / heavy earth moving equipment.
• A 'can do' attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on developing effective relationships and team building.
• Strong ability to assess mechanical tasks coming into the workshop for maintenance, diagnose faults and prepare a detailed scope of work, including parts.
• Ability to deliver to deadlines and ensure operations are performed safely in accordance with Emeco guidelines.
• A high level of integrity & accountability of remit.
