Emeco are now accepting applications for an experienced Leading Hand - Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our highly skilled and adaptive maintenance team located at Poitrel mine site. Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland.

Have you been working as a leading hand for the last few years and now your ready for your next challenge? Are you a Heavy Diesel Fitter who has had exposure to leading hand duties that is ready for a step up? This could be the opportunity you are looking for.

Our Fleet info:

• We specialise in renting out mining equipment
• Providing maintenance teams to our clients when required
• We have rebuild facilities across the country
• Specialising in this area our projects are always expanding

What we’ll need from you:

• Australian recognised trade certificate
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• Extensive Mine site exposure and experience completing break down works, troubleshooting and diagnostics, general servicing, and component change outs across a variety of OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi Equipment).
• Current Australian driver’s license (mandatory)
• National Police Clearance or able to obtain one
