Leading Hand - Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Emeco are now accepting applications for a Leading Hand - Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team located at Paradigm mine site. Located in the Goldfields of Western Australia.

Have you been working as a leading hand for the last few years and now you’re ready for your next venture? Are you a Heavy Diesel Mechanic who has had exposure to leading hand duties that is ready for a step up? This could be the opportunity you are looking for.

The Perks:

• Full Time option – Up to $75 + Super (Up to $235k + Super per year)
• Casual Rate option – Up to $88.75 + Super (Up to $280k + Super per year)
• Your hourly rate - will directly reflect your level of experience
• Shifts – 13 hour days
• Travel – Car pooling to and from site
• Roster – 2 and 1 roster
• DIDO – Kalgoorlie and surrounding areas – be home every day
• Relocation – This can be discussed on a case by case basis

Our Fleet On-Site:

• Dozers – CAT D10T x 2
• Excavators – Hitachi EX2600-6BE, EX1200-6, Liebherr R9250
• Graders – CAT 16M
• Trucks – CAT 785C x 5, 777F x 3
• Opportunity for our equipment rental contracts to keep expanding

What we’ll need from you:

• Australian recognised trade certificate
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• Extensive Mine site exposure and experience completing break down works, troubleshooting and diagnostics, general servicing, and component change outs across a variety of OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi Equipment).
• Current Australian driver’s license (mandatory)
• National Police Clearance or able to obtain one
