Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Have you been working as a leading hand for the last few years and now your ready for your next challenge? Are you a Heavy Diesel Fitter who has had exposure to leading hand duties that is ready for a step up? This could be the opportunity you are looking for.

Emeco are on the lookout for experienced Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Technicians to join our team located at Mungari mine site in the Goldfields of Western Australia. Mungari is a 30-minute drive from Kalgoorlie and offers a 10:5/ 2:1 DIDO roster.

This position is only available to Kalgoorlie residents.

What we can offer you:

• Full Time option - EARN Up to $75 per hour + Super
• Casual Rate option available
• Super paid on ALL hours worked

• Roster – 10:5 / 2:1 - Days and nights
• Your hourly rate - will directly reflect your level of experience
• 12 hour shifts – Minimum hours

What we’ll need from you:

• Australian recognised trade certificate
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• Extensive Mine site exposure and experience completing break down works, troubleshooting and diagnostics, general servicing, and component change outs across a variety of OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi Equipment).
• Current Australian driver’s license (mandatory)
• National Police Clearance or able to obtain one
• Forklift Ticket
