Take the lead and bring your career experience to the table. We require employee's to have experience on our equipment. Be able to hold a pre-start and have good communication with the team and able to be involved with the day-to-day servicing and maintenance of our fleet.

• Leading day-to-day maintenance on Emeco’s fleet of Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu machines

• Supporting rental fleet servicing and breakdowns as needed

• Maintaining safety and compliance to all HSE policies and site procedures

• Working closely with site teams and stakeholders to deliver uptime targets and operational goals

• Driving a strong team culture that values safety, reliability, and performance

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter (Australian-recognised)

• Proven post-trade experience with large-scale mining equipment

• Leadership or supervisor experience on open cut mine sites

• HR Driver’s Licence (preferred)

• High-risk work licence (preferred – we also provide training!)

• A strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and the ability to lead from the front

• Caterpillar: D10T, 16M, 789C/D, 777D, 992G/K

• Hitachi: EX1200-7, EX2600-7

• Liebherr: R9400
