Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Technician

About the role

We have exciting new opportunities for experienced Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics to lead teams of trades on our maintenance and repairs of a variety of surface mining & heavy earthmoving equipment.

About you

• Recognised National Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel Mobile Plant);
• Prior demonstratable leadership experience;
• Experience working on CAT, Hitachi & Komatsu mining / heavy earth moving equipment;
• A 'can do' attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on developing effective relationships and team building;
• Strong ability to assess mechanical tasks coming into the workshop for maintenance, diagnose faults and prepare a detailed scope of work, including parts;
• Ability to deliver to deadlines and ensure operations are performed safely in accordance with Emeco guidelines
• A high level of integrity & accountability of remit.
