Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Workshop Leading Hand to join our vibrant team at Byerwen mine. You will embrace and support the maintenance department‘s planning strategy regarding work order management and defect elimination.

About the Role

• Actively advocate and motivate others to demand high standards of safety performance.
• Embrace and support the maintenance department ‘s planning strategy regarding work order management and defect elimination.
• Ensure that operational schedules are met in accordance with strategic operational planning. 
• Maintain regular reporting to Shift Supervisor and other reports as required. 
• Understand and actively demonstrate the Macmahon values.

About You

• Australian recognised trade qualification.
• Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile plant: Caterpillar Haul Tucks, Caterpillar Dozers/Graders, Hitachi Excavators and ancillary equipment.
• Basic knowledge of QLD mining and safety legislation.
• S1,S2 and S3 (or willing to obtain).
