Macmahon is currently seeking experienced LEADING HAND TYRE FITTERS to join the Macmahon Tropicana team. This position will be on a 5D2X, 4D3X flying from Perth. You will be part of a high energy team so possession of multiple skill sets and licenses/qualifications will be highly regarded as they will greatly enhance your versatility within the role.

To be considered for this position you must have;

• Certificate II tyre fitting and tyre handling
• Previous experience in the mining industry or large scale operations;
• Strong leadership skills.
• Previous experience in the mining industry or large scale operations;
• Physically fit for the demands of the role;
• Minimum of a manual HR class driver’s license

Position Requirements;

• The general purpose of this role is to manage all rubber tyre applications on all mobile equipment.
• Leading the team
• End of month reports , Tyre Budgets
• Weekly Reports
• Monthly stock take rims and tyres
• Quartile presentations tyre awareness
• Ordering stock, sundries and tools
• Maintaining staff roster
• Processing REQs for quotations
• Monitoring tyre change reports are correct and being entered
• Managing rim supplies stock and rim certs for all rims within Tropicana
• Provide direction and support for tyre repair facility
