Operations near and far

In the Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia, our Telfer gold-copper mine is our fly-in-fly-out operation, comprising open pits, processing plant and an underground mine. While at site Telfer offers a diverse range of recreational activities including a gym, swimming pool, driving range, movie room and refurbished communal eatery.

Who we’re looking for  

We are searching for a meticulous and safety-conscious professional with a passion for efficient warehouse operations to join our team at Telfer. In this particular role you will support the supervisor and the team with receiving goods, receipting, storing, stocktaking and dispatching goods issuing the correct parts.

Roster:  8/6 (Days) 7/7 (Nights), flying on Thursdays.

Other key responsibilities

  • Receival of Goods, Unpack, sort, and inspect goods for quality and quantity; maintain accurate paperwork.
  • Prepare goods for transport, complete relevant documentation, and deliver goods using the warehouse heavy rigid vehicle as required
  • Assist with the handling of hazardous materials and optimize storage space; ensure proper binning and location of items.
  • Issue materials in compliance with approved requests, complete See Stop Controls, and address stock discrepancies.
  • Uphold company policies and values; collaborate with team members and support departmental goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments before starting any task, implement effective controls, and stop work if unsafe conditions arise.

About you

The ideal candidate we are searching for will bring a combination of safety awareness, technical skills, and a collaborative mindset, aligning with our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in warehouse operations.

Other ideal requirements include:

  • WorkSafe High Risk License – Class LF
  • Experience with SAP warehouse management system
  • HR Drivers License
  • Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations TLI30321
  • Desirable: Senior First Aid Certificate
