The opportunity

Reporting to the Superintendent Business Services we are seeking applications for a permanent part time Officer Administration - Learning Excellence to work 3 days per week in the Perth office. This role is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and demonstrate your organisational skills and amazing customer service.

Key responsibilities in the role will include:

  • Provision of administration support to the Capability Development function
  • Events management support
  • Assisting with scheduling, training and general queries and escalations
  • Coordinating accommodation constraints for training facilitators delivering onsite
  • Maintaining digital resources
  • Document management
  • Project support
  • Facilitating continuous improvement across the Capability Development function.

About You

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving attitude
  • Highly organised with the ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • High level of communication skills, written and verbal and the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Self-directed to complete work on time and problem solve with minimal supervision
  • Good computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of applications and Sharepoint.
  • Previous experience with SAP Learning Solution (highly desirable)

Where you’ll be working

In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own an integrated portfolio of iron ore assets supported by functional teams in the Perth hub: a world-class, integrated network of 16 mines, four independent port terminals, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand.

This position will be b.ased out our Perth Central Park location and may require the ability to commence work from 7am daily.
