Light Vehicle Mechanic

Emeco is excited to announce that we are now recruiting for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Orelia. Working on a 2:1 roster.

2 years post trade experience is advantageous, however if you're looking to start a new pathway in mining, please feel free to get in touch so we can explore your options.

Key responsibilities would be:

• To carry out scheduled servicing
• Maintenance and repair of all site’s light vehicles, lighting plants and generators
• Assist in the HME workshop as required.

Required skills/ experience & attributes:

• Relevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate 
• Australian Drivers Licence
• High Risk Licence
• Authorised repairers’ licence (advantageous)
• Hold or able to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Minimum 2 years post trade experience 
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical. 
• Outstanding commitment to safety in the workplace
