About the Role

As a Line Technical Specialist you will drive continuous improvement and sustainably embed new ways of working through BHP Operating System (BOS) and Standardised Work (SW). Provide ongoing coaching and support to Supervisors and Frontline in sustaining BOS principles, practices and associated tools across the function as the way we work. You will support teams in the identification and delivery of business value whilst building lasting capability and maturity in BOS ways of working. About You

  • Proven ability to deliver sustainable improvements through leading or implementing a process improvement or change management project, including facilitating problem-solving sessions, including at the frontline.
  • Experience in observing, coaching and providing feedback to peers and leadership on improved ways of working.
  • Influencing and working with teams to collaboratively problem solve.
  • Apply systems thinking and analytics to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity and delivering outcomes in a matrix environment using your collaboration, engagement, influence, and coaching skills.  
  • Understanding/ exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and organisational change.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/ or industry experience.
  • Exposure to data analytics advantageous but not essential.
