About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to drive continuous improvement and sustainably embed new ways of working through the implementation of the BHP Operating System (BOS). Providing ongoing coaching and support to Line Leaders and Frontline in sustaining BOS principles, practices, and associated tools across the site as the way we work.
This role can be residential in Kalgoorlie for a 5:2 work roster or FIFO from Perth on a 5:2 4:3 work roster.
Reporting to the BOS Line Coach, your responsibilities will include:
- Prioritize the application of BOS Principles and Practices to Business Plan priorities.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to Line Leaders to implement and sustain the BHP Operating System (BOS practices, tools, and methods across the site as the way we work.
- Role model and coach the BOS practices and tools to continually grow BOS capability and way of working to drive planned business impact.
- Build problem solving and continuous improvement capability through supporting and coaching on problem solving to identify the root cause of problems to identify and implement permanent solutions.
- Guide and work with relevant stakeholders to build, test and deploy practical solutions to improve work methods and processes.
- Assess and recommend focus areas and activities for coaching and improvement that unlock value.
- Coach and support frontline team understanding and utilization of BOS tools and routines.
- Analyse, report and present on the progress of and changes to the implementation BOS tools and systems to Management and stakeholders.

- Experience delivering sustainable improvements through implementing a process improvement or change management project.
- Possess a moderate IT Literacy skill level including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to critically observe, coach, collaborate, and provide feedback to peers and leadership.
- Ability to coach and work with frontline teams to collaboratively problem solve.
- Ability to develop and build capability in others.
