Due to our ongoing growth, Macmahon are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced people to join the team at the "King of the Hills” mine located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia 28km north of Leonora. Macmahon have secured a 5-year Surface and Underground mining contract with RED 5 ltd, the mine will have annual production above 200kozpa, King of the Hills is Australia’s next major Gold Mine which will feature State-of-the-Art Technology 85% new plant and brand-new camp facilities.

We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Loader Operator on a 2:2 Roster to the Project with responsibilities not limited to:
•    Load trucks for the removal of broken material from the mine
•    Remove broken dirt stocks from active headings and leave headings in good condition for drilling
•    Dump dirt in stockpiles when and as required
•    Maintain roadways and loading bays, cleaning up spillage
•    Conduct heading clean ups as required
•    Assist with the installation of services, including ventilation
•    Recording of all shift data and the completion of daily inspection reports

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience
•    Experience operating a Komatsu WA900-8 (New) Loader
•    Extensive underground experience 
•    Sound planning and organisational skills
•    Ability to work solo and within a team
