About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Logistics Surface, this role supports the safe and efficient transport of Uranium, Gold and Silver final products from Olympic Dam to market to meet schedule requirements.
This also ensures all regulatory and legislated uranium transport requirements are met through preparation and processing of all shipping, customer and customs documentation
This role is based at Olympic Dam on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster with flexibility. We are happy to consider residential, DIDO or FIFO ex-Adelaide options.
In this role you will:
- Work within a high performing team demonstrating a culture of care and providing support and collaborating across the group
- Perform daily MII and SAP production upload/verification for copper, UOC and precious metals
- Ensure all regulatory and legislated uranium transport requirements are met
- Prepare export documentation for submission to relevant shipping lines
- Prepare transport documentation to be submitted to relevant Government departments relating to export shipments within specified time frames
- Maintain stock and condition of required transport consumables (e.g. empty UOC containers/drums, seals, bags, shipping labels etc.)
- Attend and signoff of all UOC, gold and silver shipment pick-ups by service providers
- Conduct container inspections prior to transportation
- Processing (i.e. SAP nomination updates, ticketing and email notifications) of product movements at various logistics stage-gates
- Ensure data integrity meets required SOC standards and any variations to reported production figures/stocks are escalated to the relevant team
- Complete EOM production balance and stocktake whilst ensuring the above data integrity requirements are met
About You
- Demonstrated experience in an aligned role involving freight, import/export, logistics or warehousing
- High level of expertise with Excel
- Experience with 1SAP (Purchasing, Material Movement and Exporting) will be highly advantageous
- Highly developed and effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration that supports mutually beneficial outcomes
- A strong eye for detail
- Organisational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to interpret reports and balance production figures.
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to provide innovative solutions and outcomes
