As a Logistics / Operations Officer you are someone who is passionate, honest, enthusiastic, and willing to step up to the challenge of being part of an innovative and achievement driven organization.

The purpose of the Logistics / Operations Officer is to provide specialist procurement advice on a range of categories to assist stakeholders to plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organizational and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements and deployment timelines for new operations;
  • Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans;
  • Analyze business needs, research and compile market information, assess risks;
  • Support for the Sourcing and Purchasing Process, recommending Vendors for purchases, creating and maintaining a supplier pool for the relevant business;
  • Support the Invoicing an payment process;
  • Support the Vendor Prequalification Process by being the supplier’s point of contact;
  • Support the Source to Contract process providing local market knowledge, participating in negotiations;

Qualification and Experience: 

  • Ability to communicate and interact on all levels
  • SAP and Microsoft Office experience
  • Ideally 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced logistics / procurement role
  • Working knowledge of functional HSES principles and practices
  • Bachelor’s Degrees in business, Commerce, Law or Similar
  • Language - French – English – Portuguese (desired)
