Logistics Warehouse Manager
Work Location: Perth
Roster: Monday to Friday
This person will provide strategic and tactical direction for the warehouse logistics team to manage parts and materials procurement, receival, storage and maintenance to allow efficient location, cost management and logistics between projects, suppliers, warehouse locations and the workshop to deliver project schedules.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Liaise with stakeholders to assess workloads and resource team accordingly.
- Develop and implement processes to facilitate the procurement, receipt, storage and inventory management of parts and materials between projects, warehouse locations and the workshop.
- Provide direction and support to team members regarding tasks and performance to meet workshop, engineering and project planning and scheduling requirements.
- Identify and mitigate any risks to meeting workshop, engineering and project planning and scheduling requirements.
- Identify future departmental needs and develop strategic initiatives to meet them.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in leading and supporting team members regarding tasks and performance to meet requirements
- Strong communication and relationship skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders
- Effective problem solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Ability to identify future departmental needs and develop strategic initiatives to meet them
- A strong focus on process improvements
- Track record in identifying opportunities to improve performance and implement programs to realise potential
