Long Term Maintenance Planner

Work location:

Hedland Operations. Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

Roster:

Optional 4D3R or 5D2R Residential - 4D3R FIFO 

Role Overview 

Fortescue's Port Facility Maintenance Planning department requires a suitably experienced Maintenance Planner / Long Term Planner at Anderson Point site. This position will report to the Senior Long-Term Planner

This is a residential Port Hedland opportunity working a 5D2R or 4D3R roster. Candidates who are current Port Hedland residents or willing to be relocated to Port Hedland are encouraged to apply.

FIFO applicants ex. Perth will be considered for the role depending on suitability/experience level

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Planning of shutdown PM02 work orders
  • Update maintenance plans, items and task lists as required
  • Deadline monitor batched work orders into respective shutdown revisions
  • Rescheduling of maintenance plans to align with previous calls
  • Review notifications to call in potential maintenance items.
  • Action master data notifications associated with shutdown data
  • ANCI/ATI components and update equipment PM assemblies
  • Manage/Reforecast funding on replacement capital items using DCRM
  • Assist in budget creation of maintenance operating budget
  • Various data analytics assignments as per the Senior Long Term Planner as required

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Previous maintenance planning experience, 3 years minimum
  • Experience with SAP as a planning tool
  • High level of experience creating functions and formulas in excel
  • Experience in scoping tasks, supporting contract labour, identifying parts and materials
  • Current C Class drivers’ license as minimum
  • Previous master data experience is highly regarded
