Work Location: Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.Roster: 7D/7N/14R – FIFO ex Perth or Busselton.The successful applicant will provide lubrication expertise to maintain fixed plant assets. The role focuses on continuous improvement, standardization of practices, procedures, and work methods across site, while utilizing previous experience in line with industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring departmental compliance of the Site Safety Procedures and Practices for the Maintenance Team
- Ensuring compliance to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System - SAP)
- Ensuring hygiene and best common lubrication practices
- Carrying out quality inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
- Responsible for all hydrocarbon storage, use and maintenance at the fixed plant operations
- Ensuring reporting/recording of all Maintenance activities as required by the maintenance plan are directed back to the Supervisor
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience working with hydrocarbon delivery equipment and maintenance on all common Fixed Plant equipment
- Current driver’s licence (C class)
- LCAT or MLA Qualification desirable
- Mechanical trade certificate desirable but not essential
- Hydraulic systems experience desirable but not essential
