Lubrication Technician - Hope Downs 4 - FIFO

About the role

We are looking for a Lubrication Technician to ensure that the lubrication requirements of all the fixed plant equipment are maintained to high standards to deliver a safe and reliable operation at Hope Downs 4.

Working 8 days on, 6 days off and reporting to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, the role will require you to:

• Carry out manual grease lubrication of all rotating equipment
• Maintain and replenishment automatic grease systems
• Take oil samples and send to laboratory for analysis
• Changeout of filters on air and oil systems
• Manage stock levels in Lubrication storage areas
• Maintain fixed plant equipment through sound lubrication principles
• Routine plant inspections
• Proactive maintenance activities for all lubricated mechanical equipment
• Refuelling of plant equipment as required
• Assisting the maintenance team when required

The Hope Downs mine is located in the Hamersley Group which forms the middle layer of Mount Bruce Group in the Marra Mamba Iron Formation. It is situated 100km north-west of Newman in the Pilbara region of Australia.
