We have a requirement for LV Fitters to join our Deflector project on a 2/2 roster. This role offers opportunities to grow and ongoing training for career progression. The successful applicant will be part of an enthusiastic, dynamic, approachable, and friendly team within a well reputed organisation. 

Deflector Gold Copper mine is in the southern Murchison region of WA, 450km north of Perth and 160km east of the Western Australian regional city of Geraldton. The Deflector Gold Copper mine is made up of two underground mines; Deflector and Deflector South-West.

• Roster on offer is 2:2 
• Only 1.6km drive from camp to site daily 
• FIFO ex Perth

• Brand new workshop in progress with 10ton overhead crane and pit

Skills & Experience Required: 

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate  
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence (minimum)
• Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment underground
• Breakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipment
• Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical systems
• Maintain maintenance data on a daily basis
• Sound planning and organisational skills

• Tele-Remote Bogger; Sandvik 514 & 3074 (remotes)
• Long Hole Drills; Sadvik DL431 & Sandvik DL331
• Loaders; Volvo IT’s – L60 to L120
• Trucks; Epiroc 6020, MT54, MT65

As a part of the recruitment process for this role you are required to complete a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol screening and completion of criminal history and qualification checks. Additionally, you will be required to provide proof of working rights in Australia, i.e. a copy of your valid Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate or current visa grant notification.
