Job Responsibilities

Macmahon are looking for a LV fitter to join our team at Deflector.

About the Position:

    
•    Roster on offer is 2:2
•    Excellent working facilities - brand new 8 bay workshop recently built with 10ton overhead crane and pit
•    Only 1.6km drive from camp to site
•    FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Geraldton
•    Excellent camp with brand new driving & golf simulators

To be considered for this position you must have:

•    Australian recognised Trade Certificate
•    Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of small fleets and site vehicles (Toyota 4WDs, Bus Commuter, etc).
•    Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance
•    Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting / interpretive skills
•    Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an underground mining environment
•    Physically fit for the demands of the role
•    Current C class drivers license (minimum)
 

As a part of the recruitment process for this role you are required to complete a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol screening and completion of criminal history and qualification checks. Additionally, you will be required to provide proof of working rights in Australia, i.e. a copy of your valid Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate or current visa grant notification.
