Barminco is one of the world's largest, hard rock mining companies with over three decades of experience. We are currently developing above 120 kilometres per year, and mining over 10 million tonnes on our multi-million-dollar fleet of underground mining equipment. With new projects forecasted, this will see Barminco and AUMS grow to over 4,300 employees in 2021.

In line with Barminco's forecasted growth, we are seeking applications from experienced and qualified Light Vehicle Fitters for an immediate start.  These positions are based across our Western Queensland operations, on an even time 14:14 FIFO roster from Brisbane / Townsville.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience working with a fleet of Toyota and Ancillary mining equipment;
• Substantial expertise in breakdown, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles;
• Previous Underground mining experience (desirable);
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences;
• Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence;
• National Police clearance;
• Ability to obtain Explosives Security Card;
