About the Role
The role will involve being an active team member, providing support to the requirements of the work team, by adhering to operating requirements and striving for the achievement of individual, team and site objectives as directed. In this role, you will:

Receipting of explosives into and out of the Underground Magazine

Ordering of explosives from Supplier (from surface magazine) necessary to maintain min/max levels in underground magazine

Ensuring compliance to licencing and statutory regulation requirements

Ensure that all persons entering the magazine have a current Blaster’s Licence or are escorted by someone who does.

Ordering and stock management of Drill & Blast Underground Inventory

Manage and verify critical controls in the Underground Magazine

Complies with Olympic Dam core safety behaviours, as detailed in the HSEC management systems roles and responsibilities

Adhere to and demonstrate BHP Charter Values.

About You
- Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way
- Ability to work effectively within the Olympic Dam operations and functional teams
- Ability to communicate across multiple levels and disciplines
- Previous experience with SAP desirable, but not essential

Be focused on working collaboratively within your team to achieve results

A valid Driver’s Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

LF Forklift Ticket is preferred but not essential

Must have or be able to obtain Nation Police Clearance Certificate
- Must have or be able to obtain ASIO clearance certificate
- Must have or be able to obtain Safe Work SA Explosives License as Magazine Keeper.
