About the Role

As a Maintenance Operations Technician, you will be integral to maintaining assets within our maintenance management framework. Your role will involve applying work management processes to efficiently execute maintenance tasks allocated, ensuring the ongoing reliability and functionality of our assets.

The role is with our Rio Tinto Innovation team and is located in Bundoora within the Latrobe University Campus precinct. Our facility is set in a natural bush setting with abundant wildlife.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance of maintenance tasks.
  • Identifying defects
  • Support construction and operation of pilot plants
  • Providing feedback on asset performance through the asset management system
  • Supporting defect elimination processes
  • Contribute to work management analysis and asset tactics reviews to enhance overall asset performance
  • Adherence to work order/job instructions and conducting post-maintenance equipment commissioning and clean-up activities
