About the role

We are looking for a Facilities and Works Coordinator to support our Crew Leaders in managing a wide range of contractors who are completing works on our site in an ongoing capacity. These works will be to our facilities and may include carpentry, roofing, general facilities maintenance, air conditioning, plumbing, roofing, fire systems, flooring and other required trades.
You may come from a similar role or possess a transferable skillset with strengths in Coordination, communication, building and fostering relationships, auditing and data entry as well as step-up leadership skills or a desire to develop in this space.

Reporting to the Crew leader working a 9-day fortnight you will be -
- Working on planning, scopes and schedule of works on site with a variety of contractors and trades
- Manage contractor performance, cost and quality whilst fostering strong relationships with our providers
- Ensuring documentation input and maintaining data and work orders in SAP
- Drive improvement in the sites HSE performance through safety meetings, Safety interactions and Visual Engaging leadership.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport and work through problems with contractors.
- Demonstrated ability in managing contractor performance and scope/cost creep
- Energy and tenacity to support the delivery of plans and scheduled works while maintaining engagement with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to motivate others through engaging leadership.
- Strong computer literacy to be able to plan, schedule and scope works
- A passion for continuous improvement and confidence to speak up about new ideas and ways of improving processes/cost savings etc.
