Electrical Maintainer (Infrastructure) – Tom Price

About the role

We are looking for an Electrician who will be responsible for carrying out inspections, scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance to various site infrastructure and assets at Tom Price.Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the role will require you to:

  • Execute scheduled work plans and unplanned or/and breakdown work on potable water assets such as bores and pump stations, waste water pump stations, treatment facilities, compressed air systems, and low voltage electrical assets associated with infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance to all Statutory Electrical Regulations and Australian Standards
  • Promote electrical awareness and safe work practices
  • Recommend improvements for existing processes and methods
  • Record electrical installing work in the Mine Site Log book for Registered Manager sign off
  • Complete Job Hazard Assessments, Take 5 and Critical Risk Management safety procedures
  • Provide electrical support to fellow mechanical and water services teams

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have the following:

  • A WA 'A' Grade Electrical Licence
  • Manual C Class Driver's Licence
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Strong understanding of SAP to raise notifications, complete time confirmations and enter reliability and maintenance activity information
  • Experience in the maintenance of PLCs and Citect systems
  • Experience in maintenance of electrical installations on a mine site or similar industry
  • Understanding of RTIO safety systems and demonstrated strong health & safety performance
