ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, as the Superintendent for Maintenance Analysis & Improvement (Electrical), the purpose of this role is to design and implement systems and processes that deliver equipment performance outcomes that meet or exceed business requirements by focusing on reliability engineering, deployment of effective maintenance tactics and monitoring and controlling the maintenance quality process. This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Leads a team of professionals, Electrical Specialists and Electrical Engineers
  • Delivers effective equipment maintenance tactics and associated documentation to align with Asset Care Plans
  • Ensures effective processes to manage and improve the quality of maintenance work
  • Monitors and controls equipment reliability performance metrics
  • Manages the portfolio of maintenance improvement initiatives
  • Leads the defect elimination process and identifies required equipment modifications and engages Engineering via the Management of Change process

ABOUT YOU 

  • Leadership experience in a similar role
  • Work history in refining and mining assets
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical and instrumentation fundamentals
  • Experience developing maintenance strategies to ensure reliability of electrical equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in event investigations and risk management
  • Solid understanding of Electrical Statutory Regulations and Compliance requirements

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Cert III Trade with Diploma in Relevant Electrical Technical Field
