About the Role

As a candidate who enjoys working in an environment of high safety and operational standard you will:

  • Assist Mechanical Technicians, Plumbers & Carpenters with day to day works
  • Maintain main hub garden area
  • Comply with 5S standards of workspaces and vehicles 
  • Stocking and unpacking parts 
  • Comply with the work schedule and work order time confirmations
  • Identifying opportunities and providing input in the continuous improvement of the workshop/maintenance/teams processes.
  • Contribute to supporting a continuous improvement culture that delivers results across safety, culture improvement, through-put increase and cost reduction.
  • Have a commitment to safety and genuine care for their team.
  • Supporting the health and wellbeing and sustainable development of team members.
  • Committed and able to drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
  • Commitment to our field leadership program/activities.

This role is working a FIFO roster 8/6 to Jimblebar.

About You

If you have worked or are new to a maintenance role you believe that your maintenance future could be in mining then we might have a relevant opportunity for you if you hold the following:

  • Hold a current C Class Drivers Licence 
  • Preference given to individuals with any/multiple of the following: Forklift licence, confined space sentry, working at heights, fire extinguisher training and senior first aid. 
  • Maintenance Associate experience 
  • Desirable – Dogging/Rigging ticket, HR Licence, SAP knowledge
  • Desirable - Gardening/Reticulation experience
  • Have exceptional risk management skills
  • Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations
  • Experience managing the day-to-day completion of scheduled maintenance work
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong presentation, communication and coaching skills and the ability to work closely in a team environment
