About the Role

Reporting to the Ancillary Maintenance Superintendent and forming part of the Ancillary leadership team, the role of Maintenance Coordinator is fundamental in supporting the Execution Supervisors with the following tasks, however not limited to; 

  • set up and delivery of planned and unplanned work, schedule pre-read attendance and action
  • forward planning support, short term labour coordination, 
  • raising purchasing orders, 
  • reviewing work notifications and work orders for compliance
  • daily and weekly asset management reporting functions
  • liaising with warehousing regarding parts for urgent work.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join the SF MEM Ancillary Team; you will work hand in hand with some of the best Ancillary supervisors in the game to execute the daily and weekly maintenance plan safely and efficiently. The Maintenance Coordinator is also a fast paced and dynamic opportunity, supporting the breakdown process and our desire to meet customer demands. About South Flank

South Flank’s brand-new mining fleet is the biggest and best in class, and is being progressively converted to autonomous operation, in line with South Flank’s future-facing design, including the market’s latest models of dozers, graders, loaders, excavators, drills and haul trucks.  With a focus on reliability and quality, our Maintenance Coordinators assist in the delivery of world class maintenance and are a key driver in continuously improving and standardising work practices. 

South Flank has now transitioned from its previous 2/1 roster to 8/6:7/7, 12-hour day/night FIFO roster, allowing you more time to enjoy doing what you love, this role is dayshift only… giving you an even better work/life balance. If you are moving from a 2/1 roster, this means an average of 43 more days at home – including every other weekend off! 

This role will be offered on an 8/6 dayshift only roster.

About You

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to support a collaborative working team in maintenance, logistics or a similar setting, in addition to but not limited to the following;

  • have an ability to multi-task, prioritise work and adapt to change,
  • be highly focused on data integrity and maintaining up to date information 
  • a demonstrated background and understanding of Mining Maintenance would be highly advantageous and,
  • previous 1SAP experience, specifically in managing purchase requisitions, urgent fright processing and vendor management would be ideal.
  • Current ‘C’ Class drivers’ licence is essential
