We employ approximately 150 people, and aim to support our local communities.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Leading Hand, you will be part of a small dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to: 

• Maintain & repair heavy coal mining equipment
• Identify & rectify potential issues with heavy equipment
• Participate and adhere to the Site SHMS - Prides / Hazards reporting and risk assessments

Skills and Experience

• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft word
• Good problem solving skills
• Experience in monitoring, identifying and rectifying potential issues with heavy equipment
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
• Experience working in the mining or heavy industry environment
• Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualifications
• Current open manual drivers licence
