About the Role

As the Maintenance Execution Specialist within the Leinster Nickel Operations Concentrator Fixed-Plant Team, you will have the opportunity to support and guide a talented multi-disciplinary group tasked with achieving world-class equipment availability.   Reporting to the Supervisor Shutdown, this role is Fly-in, Fly-out between Perth and Leinster on a 5/2/4/3 roster.   In this role you will:  

  • Initiate, Implement and report on maintenance improvement and safety projects
  • Improve the quality of planned maintenance work through detailed scoping and prioritisation of tasks, with a view to achieving long-term objectives
  • Support the execution supervisors with routines including purchasing, inventory management and master data
  • Conduct safety & risk audits and manage subsequent improvement projects

You are comfortable working autonomously, and agile in your thinking and able to quickly adapt to changing demands.   In addition, you will have the following skills:  

  • An Electrical Trade Qualification / A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Experience within a concentrator or processing plant with a good understanding of maintenance tasks
  • Ability to engage and influence multiple levels within an organisation
  • Have a well-developed continuous improvement focus and be comfortable in working within systems and processes in order to facilitate change
  • Be able to interpret, make decisions and determine corrective actions based on data
  • Understand maintenance risk management and mitigation processes with regard to safety, plant reliability and availability
  • Possess advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
