About the Role

We are currently seeking   Maintenance Specialists to join our site based execution teams. Reporting to the area Maintenance Superintendent and working with the Area Maintenance Supervisors, you will contribute to the preparation, management, delivery and review of both planned and unplanned maintenance execution. Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepares for the safe execution of maintenance activities, carries out post execution tasks and works to resolve issues identified that impact maintenance execution
  • Liaise with off-site vendors and supply to source / expedite equipment spares or facilitate urgent repairs
  • Create and monitor purchase requisitions outside of the normal planning functions responsibility
  • Work with support functions to optimise and resolve issues with being able to close out maintenance work orders
  • Builds process capability within the maintenance execution team as a subject matter expert in 1SAP and business processes
  • Attend weekly maintenance preparation and review meetings, taking actions to support the execution Supervisors

About You

We are looking for the following attributes / experience:

  • Proficient in the use of 1SAP
  • Minimum of 5 years working in a maintenance or supply chain environment
  • Quality focussed with a drive to achieve results for the team
  • The ability to balance multiple incoming priorities and effectively deliver on customer expectations
  • Confidence to work across a range of disciplines and levels to foster mutually beneficial and cohesive relationships
