ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on a 4x10 hour dayshift roster based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.

As the Technician Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for safely executing maintenance work within an operation area as per SAP processes, maintenance schedules, and work instructions as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Commit to safety and adhere to all work practices and procedures.
• Follow SAP processes for work execution and data entry, ensuring accuracy.
• Complete work orders on schedule, maintaining high standards and detailed records.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and resolve issues to improve equipment reliability

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Experience in a similar mechanical role, ideally within a refinery or process plant.
• SAP data entry and work order processing (desirable)
• Commitment to safe working practices

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Mechanical Fitter Trade certificate (Australian recognised), Cert III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitter)
• C Class Driver’s Licence
