Job Tasks and Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of themaintenance workforce in a safe and cost-effective manner (in association with mobile and fixed plantequipment maintenance activities), in order to achieve a high degree of reliability.

Skills and Experience

Skills

• Degree or Diploma in associated discipline
• Applicable Coal Competencies
• Senior First Aid or higher
• S1,2,3 & G2
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong SAP knowledge & Microsoft Project skills
• Skilled in risk assessment, hazard identification & highly responsive to safety issues

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role and knowledge of the QLD Coal Mining Legislation and howit is related to maintenance applications
• Experienced in managing and maintaining personnel rosters within a mining environment
• Previous experience in providing leadership to effect project and operational success in relation tomaintenance applications within an Open Cut Mining environment
