About the roleAs a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining assets within our maintenance management framework. You will be responsible for applying work management processes and performing maintenance work allocated ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our assets.

You will support the Team Leader with allocation of work, scoping work and managing the operation work management process. You will provide leadership cover when the team leader is on leave. Facilitating daily shift start meetings, engaging in safety field time and people managementAbout UsWe prioritize the maximization of asset value through effective asset management practices. Our team is dedicated to delivering safe outcomes and sustainable physical assets through efficient application of our asset management strategy and business plans.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on mechanical assets, ensuring their reliability and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in identifying defects and providing feedback on asset performance and health through our asset management system, actively raising notifications and completing work orders.Additionally, you will support the defect elimination process and contribute to work management analysis and asset tactics reviews to enhance overall asset performance. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that work management activities are executed in accordance with job instructions and undertaking post-maintenance equipment commissioning and clean-up.What You'll Bring

  • Trade qualified Mechanical fitter with Heavy industry experience
  • Ability to step in and out of Team Leader role as required
  • EWP, working at heights and dogging tickets are desirable
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Effective in conveying maintenance-related information to stakeholders.
  • Collaborates effectively to support maintenance activities.
  • Flexibility in responding to changing maintenance needs.
