Mount Isa Mines are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer, to work together with the Heavy Fleet Maintenance Management team. This position is residentially based in Mount Isa.

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team within the Mobile Maintenance Heavy Fleet department.
Reporting to the Specialist – GFM Heavy Fleet Maintenance you will work closely with leading hands, supervisors and their crew coordinating maintenance activities for Mobile Maintenance Team. This position will be offered on a 7/7 days only roster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Provide support to maintenance execution team to achieve the day-to-day objectives of the workshop
- Ordering and tracking of parts
- Creation of service purchase orders
- Processing & tracking add to catalogue requests
- Ordering to maintain workshop consumable levels
- General administration duties
The successful candidate will possess:
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service
- The ability to liaise / communicate with stakeholders internally and externally.
- Good time organisational & management skills with ability to recognise and allocate prioritises.
- High attention to detail and ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Previous experience with mobile underground fleet will be highly valued.
- Manual driver’s license
- Forklift ticket or be able to obtain
- Ellipse or SAP CMMS experience preferred
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft suite
- Previous planned parts or stores experience is desirable
