We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our Dampier Salt team, based out of Carnarvon at our Lake Macleod operations. The purpose of the role will be to prioritise all incoming maintenance tasks for fixed plant assets, in particular conveyors, pumps, plant and electrical infrastructure while delivering planned work for all maintenance activities in accordance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.

Reporting to the Senior Planner, this role is a great opportunity to manage all incoming work from SAP for the fixed plant, electrical and site services, taking appropriate actions to ensure a high-quality standard of planned work. Working a local/residential 4 days on; 3 days off dayshift only roster, you will be:
- Planning maintenance operations for all relevant work orders including all required parts, materials, equipment, and labour.
- Develop short term plans to ensure maintenance work task execution can be performed safely, efficiently, and effectively
- Maintain and drive work management KPI’s and business processes with the maintenance team
- Bill of Materials (BoM) reviews, updating requirements and task list updates
- Create and change maintenance plans, items and strategies
- Continuously reviewing the maintenance opportunities and ensure that all equipment priorities are aligned with operational requirements.
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A Manual C-class Australian Drivers Licence
- Proficient knowledge in use of SAP
- Demonstrated skills in maintenance planning or scheduling within the resources industry.
- Ability to work safely and cooperatively in a small team, demonstrating flexibility to business requirements

Where you’ll be working Dampier Salt Limited (DSL), located in Western Australia and comprising three solar operations – Dampier, Port Hedland and Lake MacLeod – is the world’s largest exporter of seaborne salt, with capacity to produce approximately 10.3 million tonnes every year.
At our Lake MacLeod operations, we also mine and export gypsum to customers in Australia and Southeast Asia.
