Maintenance Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Planner to join our team based in our Maddington Office on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Group Manager - Assets, the Maintenance Planner will play a key role in supporting and enhancing Pit N Portal’s short-term maintenance and planning function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provision of weekly and monthly maintenance plans for all preventative maintenance tasks supporting business unit schedules
- Forward planning and control of all preventative maintenance tasks
- Review labour, parts, cost, downtime and requirements with managers and supervisors for change out programs
- Liaise with Group Manager - Assets and Project Managers on major component schedules and relate site timings with relevant component availabilities
- Report component conditioning and identify and discuss potential premature failures on a regular basis
- Complete relevant documentation as required to ensure that equipment files and business systems are current and up to date
- Coordinate overall maintenance service delivery to ensure cost effective, high quality and timely provision of customer requirements
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Nationally recognised trade qualification
- Post-trade experience in maintenance of underground mobile equipment, in particular Caterpillar, Sandvik & Volvo
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system maintenance planning module, Pronto preferred
- Degree or qualification in planning or management desirable
- Permanent resident and ability to work in Australia
