OPF Crusher Planner
Work Location: Solomon
- Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi people.
Roster: 4:3, FIFO ex Perth (flexible for right candidate)
The OPF Crusher Planner will be responsible for developing and managing maintenance plans and schedules for all crushers within both OPF’s. This will be a site-based role ideally on a 4:3 rotation but there is flexibility for the right candidate. The role requires knowledge with MMD sizers and MP1000/MP1250 crushers to aid in the planning and scheduling of works.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Review and seek information from internal and external maintenance personnel to ensure all work orders have the relevant information to execute the task to a high standard.
- Key liaison between Maintenance, Shutdowns and Planning.
- Developing detailed scopes of work for any crusher related activities
- Working with maintenance team members to continually improve planning and work management processes.
- Work with and facilitate the creation of inspection and maintenance PRT’s (documents) for all preventative maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of Work Management processes
- Participate in the creating and clarification of scopes for tasks
- Master data experience in Task List building, Bill of Material creation, Maintenance Plan management
Qualifications and skills required:
- Proven experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance
- A relevant trade qualification or significant experience working with MMD sizers or MP1000/MP1250 cone crushers essential
- Substantial experience working with maintenance management systems and experience as a planner. SAP knowledge ideal.
- Knowledge and demonstrated use of MS Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present plans and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Work within a team environment, liaising with various departments to ensure that work orders are reviewed, budgeted for, planned and ready to execute within the required timeframe.
