Position: Maintenance Planner Water Services
Work Location: Solomon
- Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi people.
Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth
Water Services service and maintain all dewatering assets as well as all portable power generation to facilities, compounds and communications towers across Solomon Mine site. Water Services Maintenance Planner will manage SAP work management system to plan and schedule all aspects of asset maintenance for a Solomons dewatering network and site power generation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scope and plan maintenance tasks, coordinate the supply of equipment and materials
- Ensure that planned and corrective maintenance activities are scheduled and organised to comply with standing service level agreements
- Plan, develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules
- Create purchase requisitions for all requirements to complete schedule works and department requirements
- Create and maintain task lists, Bill of Materials, Maintenance Plans, PRT’s and Master Data in SAP
Qualifications and Experience:
- Trade qualification (mechanical/electrical/maintenance) - preferred
- Demonstrated mining non processing infrastructure (NPI) maintenance experience is essential
- High proficiency of SAP or 1SAP and MS Office | Project is essential
- Ability to interpret and understand mechanical drawings is an advantage
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) is essential
- Sound organisational, time management, communicational and presentation skills
