Integrated Scheduling is accountable for delivering iron ore from mine to customer via a mine, train and shipping schedule that is optimised around grade, volume, product mix, asset performance and deviations. The Maintenance Scheduling team plays a crucial part in optimising our network of mine, ports & rail shutdowns to maximise the value generated across the Pilbara supply chain; all while maintaining the delicate balance of safety, quality, cost, customer and joint venture requirements.
We are looking for a Maintenance Scheduling Advisor to review & integrate all non-production activities impacting the railway network, while taking system, operational, maintenance, financial and reliability implications into consideration to ensure asset health requirements are met with minimal system impact.
Working 5 days on, 2 days off roster and reporting to the Superintendent Scheduling you will be:
Understanding and resolving system conflicts and constraints to minimize impact to the overall supply chain;
High level of stakeholder engagement across the entire RTIO Supply Chain – Mines, Rail, Port & functional partners, you will chair meetings, coach, support, and influence stakeholders;
Reviewing planned maintenance with the view of optimising alignments whilst complying with the Integrated Asset Maintenance strategy, identifying opportunities, and communicating associated risks;
Challenging existing processes through continuous improvement initiatives that drive optimal operating strategies & tactics for execution teams;
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Experience aligning multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
Strong communication and negotiation ability with a solutions-based mindset
Problem solving capabilities with a positive and proactive attitude
An understanding of operations or asset maintenance planning with insights into the consequences and impacts of planning decisions
It will also be beneficial if you have:
Relevant experience in operations or scheduling
Experience working in a value chain deviation role
Understanding of Iron Ore or a large-scale supply chain

Where you’ll be working
Our state-of-the-art Operations Centre (OC) located near the Perth domestic airport, is a key component of our Mine of the Future™ vision. The OC control room operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, power and ports. It enables all our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location, optimising site activities from 1,500km away.
