About the Role
You will be responsible for leading a dedicated high performing team of Pre-Inspectors, Tool Store Officers, Boilermakers & TAs contributing to operational continuous improvement outcomes. This residential position is based at our Mt Arthur Coal Operations, in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, coach & mentor teams to ensure optimal delivery against performance & safety targets
- Manage availability of workshop support equipment
- Work prioritisation & project management
- Manage work management activities in 1SAP
About You
You will have previous experience leading a team, with direct reports. Your people & communication skills are of the upmost importance, as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of stakeholders.
The nature of the role requires you to be a people leader, a forward thinker and focussed on process discipline. A background in leading high performing teams with a strong safety focus will be critical to the success of this position.
