Maintenance Services Superintendent
Work Location: Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.

We are currently looking for our next Maintenance Services Superintendent to join our Christmas Creek team to manage and coordinate all the Work Management activities, including material management, technical writing and data capture, to support the achievement of sustainable equipment reliability, in a safe and effective manner. As a coach and mentor, you will also be responsible for Work Management and procurement processes, equipment strategies and document requirements, aligned to the strategic direction of the corporate Asset Management Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering a safe working environment for the safe execution of all Maintenance and Work Management related activities. Support and or lead the team in effective Incident Event Management, Field Interactions and Hazard Identification.
- Support the delivery of sustainable; reliability and availability performance across the all fleets, to deliver the budgeted production requirements for the site.
- Build capability in the Planning team, to enable safe, effective management of all personnel across the department, including recruitment, contract labour hire, performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Deliver efficient Work Management processes that enable the effective delivery and execution of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
- Ensure systems and process are adhered to and continuously improved.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a Superintendent or senior leadership position
- Experience managing department budgets
- Sound understanding of SAP Master Data, Task Planning, Scheduling and Work Management transactions and processes
- Understanding of Lean Principals
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
