About your position:

As our Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our rental fleet at Olympic Dam. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, oversee maintenance operations, and implement strategies to enhance equipment uptime and efficiency. Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to interface with customers, providing exceptional service and fostering strong relationships.

What you will do:

• Manage and supervise maintenance activities for heavy mobile earthmoving equipment.
• Implement and contribute to preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and maximise equipment lifespan.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic assessments to identify maintenance needs and prioritise repairs.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of parts, consumables, and resources.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff to foster skill development and adherence to safety standards.
• Interface with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with our equipment and services.
• Collaborate with site management to address maintenance-related challenges and optimise equipment performance.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy mobile earthmoving equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trucks.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Proficiency in maintenance software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures
