Key responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinate overall site maintenance activities to ensure the equipment is always maintained to the highest possible standard.
- Be actively involved in all accident/incident investigations in conjunction with regional HSE Superintendent.
- Carry out regular inspections of all mobile equipment on site to ensure repair and machine standards of condition and presentation are maintained.
- Takes responsibility for maximising the performance of the maintenance team, provides leadership and technical support, and ensures that your team takes responsibility for their tasks.
- Ensure a high level of compliance with all Emeco policies, procedures and standards are maintained.
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Proven ability to identify lead indicators for safety performance and recommend appropriate actions.
- Minimum 10 years maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrate strong client management and liaison skills and has good understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.
- Ability to offer national guidance on effective operational standards, processes, and policies, including maintenance and management of mobile plant.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where mostly limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of detailed and other instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Can identify and facilitate effective high-level customer and stakeholder relationships and fosters cooperation within and maintenance teams.
- Proven ability to react to changing environments and the ability to display flexibility with the customer.
