Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Lead, train and mentor a team of supervisors, planners and engineers in the Open Cut Maintenance Team.

• The safe completion of all Maintenance plans and activities within Workshop.

• Providing Maintenance staff with clear objectives whilst being able to meet day-to-day Maintenance targets.

• Understand & achieve Safety, Availability & MTBF requirements for OC Maintenance Performance.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

• A nationally recognised trade qualification.

•Proven leadership ability with a very strong commitment to safety.

• Exceptional communications skills to clearly communicate maintenance plans and required outcomes to crews.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Supervisory level or above.

• Sound knowledge of Liebherr, Cat and Komatsu equipment.

• Strong knowledge of statutory laws and regulations governing open cut maintenance.
