Emeco have a new and exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our brand new ROMS division. Reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for Supervising our new site-based team working just 5 minutes out of Newman town supporting our projects in this new role.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ongoing Supervision on all maintenance and services
- Manage and co-ordinate employees, and facilities to ensure preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs are performed in a timely, cost effective and professional manner
- Be visible, and provide true leadership and mentoring to your team
- Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance practices across site
- Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Extensive experience in a similar role, effectively leading a team in an underground mining environment
- MUST HAVE A SCHEDULE 26 TO HAVE THE RIGHTS TO WORK AS A SUPERVISOR ON MINESITES! (This has replaced the Section 44)
- Be highly experienced across all areas in the comprehensive maintenance of underground mobile equipment, including breakdowns, diagnostics and repairs
- Possess a sound understanding of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to enforce them, as well as a sound knowledge of equipment safety legislation
- Strong computer skills and literacy, with experience using Pronto or a similar system highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build successful and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Valid "C Class" Manual Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- FULL Working Rights within Australia
